The All Belgium Kendo Federation is the central link between the two federal federations VKIJF and BKR that are responsible for the practise of Kendo, Iaido & Jodo (Kendo, Iaido and Jodo are martial arts which use the Japanese sword or katana.) in Belgium and abroad, it is a member of the European Kendo Federation (EKF) and the International Kendo Federation (IKF).
It represents Belgium at all international events.
It selects and sends the different, Kendo, Iaido and Jodo – national teams to the official international competitions.
It organises the Belgian National Championships in accordance with both federal federations.
It takes care of the organization of different important seminars conducted by Japanese delegations or other important events.
