We would like to inform you about the newly established European Kendo no Kata Competition, for which additional details are provided in the attached document.
As part of the preparation for this event, we are issuing two calls:
- Call for Referees – Our first priority is to nominate nanadan referees. If insufficient nanadans are available, we will proceed with rokudan candidates.
- Call for Competitor Pairs – Candidates must apply as a pair, clearly indicating the grade of each participant.
This registration is exclusively for ABKF members. Participants from other federations should contact their own federation to arrange registration.
Please note that ABKF will not foresee any budget in 2027 to reimburse competitors or referees for this event. This situation may change depending on the federation’s financial outlook, but for now, participants and referees should assume that no reimbursement will be provided.
Candidatures must be submitted no later than 5 October. Submitting your candidature means you consider yourself a serious candidate, and as such, you are expected to participate.
