It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Labas Sensei, a most respected sensei in the Belgium federation. Daniel Sensei left us yesterday, leaving a void that will be deeply felt throughout the Belgian and European community. Daniel Sensei’s legacy will forever be interwoven with our practice. Dirk D’hont passed his kendo examination at the EKC 2025.

Our National Kendo Team came home from the EKC this year with good results.
They took home a lot of fighting spirits:
Kurogi Kota (Men team)
Haeke Sakura (Ladies team)
Van Laecken Ken (Men ind.)
And a bronze medal in the Junior individual for De Smet Haruki.

If you want to go to this seminar, please contact the ABKF before June 22 so we can send your application.
The booklet for the BKC 2025 is available. Please print these out yourself and bring these with you on the championship.
