Dirk D’hont passed his kendo examination at the EKC 2025.

Our National Kendo Team came home from the EKC this year with good results.
They took home a lot of fighting spirits:
Kurogi Kota (Men team)
Haeke Sakura (Ladies team)
Van Laecken Ken (Men ind.)
And a bronze medal in the Junior individual for De Smet Haruki.

An exceptional event awaits you this summer: for the first time, we have the immense honor of welcoming Takao Fujiwara Sensei, Hanshi 8th Dan, to Europe. Coming directly from Hiroshima, he will be accompanied by two 7th Dan Sensei.
The seminar will take place over three full days, from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the ADEPS sports center in Auderghem.
Fujiwara Sensei’s presence in Europe is extremely rare. This is a unique opportunity to train under the guidance of a truly exceptional sensei, renowned worldwide for the quality and depth of his teaching — and all of this without having to travel to Japan.
The seminar is open to all practitioners, regardless of grade or experience level. Whether you are just starting out in Kendo or already an advanced practitioner, you are warmly invited to take part in this major event.
